Soil Fertility & Lawn Care Specialists

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Nature's Cure LLC collects through https://naturescurekazoo.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.

1. Who we are

Nature's Cure LLC
Kalamazoo, MI 49006
Email: info@naturescurekazoo.com
Phone: (269) 501-9254

This website was built and is maintained for us by WebCentersUSA (https://WebCentersUSA.com).

2. Information you give us

This site has two forms that collect information you type into them. We collect it only because you chose to send it. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not buy contact information from anyone else.

Contact form (on the Contact page):

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • the message you write

Newsletter signup (shown on several pages): your email address.

3. Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and which sites they arrived from. The Analytics tag loads only on the live site, never on a test or staging copy. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, your approximate location (usually city level), your browser and device type, and the pages you view.

We also record when the contact form is successfully submitted, as a count. That record contains no name, email address, phone number or message text, only the fact that a submission happened.

Google’s own handling of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your visit by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

This site also sets two cookies of its own on every visit. A session cookie lets the site tell one visit apart from the next while you move between pages. A security cookie lets the forms check that a submission really came from this site and not from somewhere else. Both are set by the software the site runs on, contain no personal information, are not shared with anyone, and expire a couple of hours after your last page view.

Our web host also keeps standard server access logs, which include IP addresses and requested pages. These are ordinary hosting records used for security and troubleshooting.

4. Other services this site uses

Google Maps. The Contact page embeds a Google Map of Kalamazoo, MI 49006. When that page loads, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies, under Google’s Privacy Policy. No other page loads the map.

Mailchimp (newsletter). When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is sent from this site’s server to our Mailchimp audience through Mailchimp’s Marketing API, and Mailchimp (operated by Intuit Inc.) stores it. We use it to send you soil fertility tips and seasonal promotions on lawn care services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or by emailing us. Mailchimp’s handling of your data is described in Intuit’s Privacy Statement.

Yardbook (consultation requests). The Consultation page has a “Request a Consultion” button that is a link to a quote form hosted by Yardbook (yardbook.com), a separate company. Nothing is sent to Yardbook until you follow the link, and anything you enter there is collected by Yardbook under its own policies, not by this site.

Fonts. The fonts on this site are stored on our own server. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service, so no information about your visit is sent to a font provider.

5. What we do with it

We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, provide the services you ask about, and keep a record of our correspondence. We use your newsletter address only to send the newsletter you signed up for. We use the analytics data to improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. Who else sees it

A contact form submission is first checked for spam (see below), then reaches three places:

  1. Our own mailbox. The message is emailed to us at info@naturescurekazoo.com, hosted by our email provider.
  2. WebCentersUSA. WebCentersUSA builds and maintains this website and receives a blind copy of every submission. They keep it as an independent record so that a message that fails to arrive in our mailbox can still be recovered and answered. They do not use it for any other purpose and do not share it.
  3. This website’s server. Each submission is also written to a log file on the server that hosts this site, described in section 7.

Spam checking

Before a contact form submission is delivered, it is checked by CleanTalk, an anti-spam service run by CleanTalk Inc. The check sends CleanTalk the email address, name and IP address of the sender and the text of the message, and CleanTalk answers whether the submission looks like spam. CleanTalk keeps what it receives for a short period under its own privacy policy at cleantalk.org/privacy.

A submission CleanTalk flags as spam is not delivered to our mailbox. A copy marked as caught goes to WebCentersUSA’s archive instead, so a genuine message caught by mistake can still be found and answered. If you sent us something and heard nothing back, email info@naturescurekazoo.com and we will look for it.

Beyond that, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

7. How long we keep it

  • Submission log on the server: 365 days. It holds the contact form fields and newsletter email addresses; entries older than a year are deleted automatically.
  • Emails in our mailbox, and the WebCentersUSA copy: kept while they are useful for the business relationship, then deleted.
  • Mailchimp audience: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address.
  • Google Analytics: retained under the retention period set in our Analytics property. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Email info@naturescurekazoo.com and we will respond.

Deleting the submission log entry and the emailed copies removes our record of your enquiry, so we may not be able to continue a conversation already in progress. We will say so if that applies.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies stops Google Analytics from recognising your visit. It also stops the forms from working, because they rely on the security cookie described in section 3. Every other page reads normally.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email info@naturescurekazoo.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use personal information, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
